Overview:
Come join us for the action-packed, high-energy National Kickoff of EntrepreneurshipWeek USA and the opening ceremony for Entrepreneurship Week at Stanford. We have an exciting lineup of prestigious speakers making brief remarks. There will be an improv performance, free gifts for everyone in the audience and over 100 audience prizes randomly given away, starting at about 3:45! Enjoy light appetizers and beverages at a networking reception following the presentations. It's all free and open to students across campus, visitors in for Parents' Weekend, the greater Stanford community, and the general public. Seating is first come, first served, so get there early!
The first 200 students to arrive will receive free goodie bags.
You will also witness the unveiling of the global Challenge Competition, a weeklong, Apprentice-style competition open to all students. Come if you want to participate or learn more.
Be on the lookout for a Hollywood film crew shooting footage for a feature-length documentary about Entrepreneurship Week to be televised nationally in the U.S. and distributed in at least ten other countries. You might even find yourself in the movie when it comes out!
Students: Put a team together and sign up for the global Innovation Challenge, which will culminate in a presentation showcase on Saturday, March 3; prizes will be awarded for Most Money Generated, Most Social Value, Most Creative, and Biggest Flop; winners will also receive international recognition.
